How do checkout and delivery work?
Paid purchases use external checkout links selected per book. Free samples remain on DoveHarperAuthor.com. Digital delivery is handled by the checkout provider listed on each book page.
What formats are available?
Available download formats include EPUB and PDF, depending on the title. Format details for each book are listed on its catalog row and detail page.
Why should I buy direct instead of Amazon?
Lower prices than Amazon — no publisher markup, no platform commission. Free EPUB and PDF samples on every title so you can try before you buy. External checkout links per book — no account needed, no app store, no subscription ladder. Every purchase supports the author directly.
What is the refund policy?
All sales final. Digital files can't be returned — you can't mail back a download. But if the file is actually broken (corrupted download, missing pages, wrong format), use the contact form and I'll try to make it right. Be ready to provide proof of purchase.
Where can I find content notes?
Content notes are listed on each book's detail page alongside the description and format details. Browse the catalog and click any title for full metadata.
What kind of content should I expect?
Dove Harper writes explicit romance and erotica for adult readers. M/F and F/F. Stories favor real bodies, complicated people, and desire that shows up after a long shift or a bad joke — no default fantasy bodies, no hairless norms. Each book has a content notes entry with title-specific warnings on its detail page.
What is Sterling?
Sterling is a fictional city that appears across multiple stories. It is not a strict series — there is no required reading order. Think of it as a shared setting where different characters cross paths. Standalone books and Sterling stories are all marked clearly in the catalog.
Is Dove Harper a real name?
Dove Harper is a gender-neutral pen name. It exists so the stories get read before assumptions about the author arrive. The About page explains this in full.
How do I read EPUB files?
EPUB samples can be imported into Kindle, Nook, phone, tablet, and desktop reading apps. PDF samples remain the fallback format when EPUB support is unavailable. On Kindle, side-load EPUB via USB cable or the Send to Kindle app.
How does this site use my data?
This site uses privacy-friendly analytics to know which pages, book links, and sample downloads are useful to readers. No IPs, no cookies, no browser fingerprints, no personal identifiers.

I built this site to sell books directly, not to collect information about you. This policy is short because there isn't much to say.
What I collect and why
When you visit a page or click a link (like a buy button or a sample download), this site records which page you visited and what you clicked. That's it. I use this to know which books and samples people are interested in, so I can write more of what works and fix what doesn't.
What I never collect
I never collect your name, email address, IP address, browser fingerprint, or any other personal identifier. I do not use cookies, tracking pixels, session recording, or third-party analytics services. The whole point of this site is to do things DIFFERENTLY. If I collected all that info about you like Zuck and Bezos do, I'd be just as bad as them.
Where the data lives
The small amount of data this site collects stays inside my Cloudflare account in a database hosted in the EU that only I can access. No third party sees it.
Contact form
If you send a message through the contact form, your name, email, and message are sent directly to my private email through Resend. They are not stored on this site or in my analytics database. I keep email correspondence private and do not add you to any mailing list because I do not have one (yet).
External links
This site links to external checkout providers for book purchases. Those providers have their own privacy policies, and I have no control over what they collect. Please review their policies if you're concerned.
Your rights
Because I don't have any personal data about you, there's nothing to request, correct, or delete. If you sent a contact form message and want it removed from my email, just reply asking me to delete it and I will.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, I'll update the date at the top and explain what changed.

These are digital files sold as-is. I do my best to make sure EPUB and PDF versions work correctly, but I cannot guarantee compatibility with every device. If a file is corrupted or broken, email me and I will send a working copy.
